The Latnija Sinkhole - Mellieha

An Amazing walk to one of Malta's most beautiful and picturesque locations with a very special hidden gem - the Latnija Cave (Sinkhole). Located further up along the coast from Paradise Bay the latnija area is an amazing place for walks and picnics with cliffs and the deep blue sea on one side and green fields on the other. The Sink hole is hard to spot from ground level but once found it offers an amazing setting rarely found in the Maltese islands. For the more adventurous types a stone Arch a few metres away leads to a rock cut stairway which takes you down the cliff face to rocky area which leads to the sea.
